In my own conversation with You, Lord,
I find a quiet realisation stirring in my heart about holiness.
This Advent, I am discovering the way to holiness.
I am learning that holiness is about letting go
and trusting.
In the past, I used to make light of religious sisters
who started livelihood projects—
even something as humble as raising crickets
to sell as snacks.
Years ago, I remember asking one sister,
“What if they do not reproduce
or die of disease?”
She laughed and simply said,
“We trust in the Lord.”
Years on, that small project of multiplying crickets
has continued to sustain the community.
As You speak to me today, Lord,
I know the steps I am called to take:
Listen.
Trust.
And let You be in control.
That is holiness.
Something I still struggle with—
learning to let go
so that You can take over.
