I never asked to be baptised.
I never had to decide
whether I wanted to be Christian.

By your grace
I have belonged to You
long before I could even speak.

You have always been in my life.
There has never been a day
when You were not part of it.

I give thanks and praise
that You have been with me always.

I pray
that the depth of Your love
may reach the hearts
of those who are seeking You.
