Two thousand years ago,
the four fishermen
who followed You
did not know
what Your plan was.
Yet they gave up their nets
and placed their trust in You.

It must have been daunting for them,
not knowing where You would lead them.

Two thousand years later,
it is still daunting
to let go of what we have going on in our lives
to follow You.

I may not know
what tomorrow holds.
But I know this:
I would rather place my hope and trust in You
than in gold, silver, or crypto.

Nothing in this world is certain.
Only Your Word endures.
