I wonder how You felt
when the scribes accused You of being possessed by Beelzebul.
They claimed that Your power to cast out demons came from evil,
not from God.
They were trying to discredit You
because You refused
to conform to their expectations.
I wonder whether You felt the weight of standing apart from them—
misunderstood,
questioned,
accused.
Yet You did not retreat.
You did not soften the truth to gain their approval.
Teach me that faithfulness sometimes means standing alone.
