“Choose peace,” they say.
But can we choose peace
like plucking apples from a tree?
But You say,
Love one another
as I have loved you.
Not to compete, but to support.
Not to judge, but to understand.
Not to wound, but to heal.
Not to take, but to build.
You show that peace is
supporting,
understanding,
healing,
building,
even when it is demanding
and costly.
Peace is tough.
It is not mine alone.
It is ours –
love lived together.
