Then, halfway through lunch, every phone sounded at once: heavy rainfall, possible flooding. We were celebrating men who had promised to follow You permanently, while outside, a storm was gathering. Their profession was not a promise that life would now be calm. It was a promise about whom they would follow when it was not.
