A young man went to Mass on Sunday. It was unlike him. He was so early that I suggested he talk to You, tell You everything he had been keeping in his heart and unload his burdens. Since his father died not too long ago, he’s been trying his best to care for his puppy and himself. So much to carry on a teenager’s shoulders.

After Mass, he went to his friend’s pop-up store, hoping to sell his well-loved pants again. For the past three months, he’s been trying to sell them to earn some money but has never succeeded. However this Sunday, he finally managed to sell a pair.

He’s connected the dots and is studying about You now, about Your life. Today he told me, “If Jesus were alive today, He would help the poor.”
